Help and first steps

Install and pin ReadyStill

Install ReadyStill from its Chrome Web Store listing, open Chrome's Extensions menu, and pin ReadyStill so its button stays visible. ReadyStill works on ordinary webpages. Chrome blocks extensions from capturing browser-internal pages, the Web Store itself, and some protected content.

Take your first capture

Open the page you want to show, click the ReadyStill button, then choose: Choose element for one panel or card; Draw a region for a precise rectangle; Visible page for the current viewport; or Full page Beta for a capped local scroll-and-stitch. Chrome shows the shortcut currently assigned to ReadyStill in the popup. You can add or change it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.

Use Full page Beta safely

Leave the tab active while ReadyStill scrolls. It temporarily freezes animations and suppresses repeated sticky elements, then restores the page and original scroll position. Very tall, moving, virtualized, protected, or horizontally scrolling pages can fail. If that happens, use Choose element or Draw a region instead.

Polish without over-editing

Choose Auto style to analyze the capture locally and apply a considered starting treatment, or select Clean, Air, Bloom, Editorial, Midnight, or Proof yourself. Eight built-in backgrounds include solids, restrained gradients, and abstract meshes. Spacing, corners, automatic or custom borders, shadows, and browser chrome remain explicit controls. Save the current style as your local default, then use Arrow, Highlight, or Redact only where the screenshot needs help. Undo, redo, and Reset edit are always available.

Review privacy suggestions

Privacy Check highlights common local page signals such as email addresses, phone-like text, credentials, and sensitive fields. High-confidence items start masked; every suggestion remains reviewable. Dismiss false positives and use Redact for anything not detected. Privacy Check is an aid, not a guarantee—inspect the final image before publishing.

Export and understand the trial

Download the current PNG, choose Copy to request optional clipboard access, or export the Launch Pack with six named PNGs. One current PNG, one clipboard copy, or one complete pack counts as one successful export session. Failed exports do not use a session. The first ten successful sessions need no account, card, or watermark.

Activate a lifetime license

After purchase, copy the ReadyStill key from your account and choose Activate license in the popup or editor. One license covers one person on up to three personal Chrome installations. Activation stores a device-bound signed entitlement with practical 100-year validity, so an already activated local core does not depend on the licensing service staying online. While online, ReadyStill still checks no more than once per day so a refund or device deactivation can take effect.

Move or deactivate a device

Sign in to your ReadyStill account, open Devices, and deactivate an installation you no longer use. Then activate the key on the replacement device. Deactivation never uploads screenshots or projects; it only changes the opaque licensed-device record.

Refunds, deletion, and support

Email support@readystill.app from the purchase email within 14 calendar days for a refund request. For self-service account deletion, sign in, open Account, choose Delete account, save your lifetime key, and type DELETE exactly. Pending payments must finish first. Deletion removes the sign-in email and key-recovery access; activated installations keep working while opaque purchase and entitlement records are retained for license and legal obligations. Screenshot pixels are never involved because ReadyStill has no cloud screenshot library.

Use the same support address if you cannot sign in, need a data-access response or lost-key review, or have a reproducible bug. Include the Razorpay reference for a post-deletion payment review. For product bugs, include the capture mode, Chrome version, operating system, and exact error text, but do not send a sensitive screenshot unless support explicitly asks and you consent.
